Hillary just got endorsed by Governor Mike Easley of North Carolina. A pretty big deal. But that's not what I'm concerned with. What I find odd, is that when these politicians make their announcement about their endorsements, they give a big speech with their candidate of choice behind them. All the speeches go something like this, and I'm paraphrasing here, "America needs a politician who's better than me. I mean, I'm not a bad politician, but I'm not good enough to lead you into the future."
I understand how it works. But I get that sense everytime I hear someone declare.

Yeah, I hear you. Giving an endorsement is like saying, "I matter! But just a little."
