Most Entertaining Movie Engagement

With the Oscars tonight, I felt inspired to post this blog as an addition to their category list. However, as I was determining my nominees, I came to realize that the category was too broad and that my list included scenes of action as well as scenes of dialogue.  Therefore, I've divided the category into two pieces; action and non-action.  This post will be dedicated to non-action.

For the purpose of this post and movie award category, I'm defining "engagement" as an interaction between the protagonist and the movie environment.  What makes a scene entertaining to me, hence the nomination, is the anticipation of how the protagonist will emerge victorious knowing full well that they are completely unstoppable.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on these scenes as well as your own nominations.
