I bought a $56 bike at Target the other day. Costs nearly that to fill up the gas tank everyother week. So, I ride it to work now. It gets a billion miles to the gallon and makes my ass hurt. But it's saving money and a small way I can contribute to mending our planet in peril.

Good for you Steve, I am a huge fan of biking. If you keep it up you will eventually realize that the spandex is vastly superior for ass protection. Just accept it.
Around here I am thinking I might need to buy a Kayak for my commute.
